Hello from the midwest, friends.
I shot the show tonight from a really great vantage point on what I’d call “side two”; that is to say — if you are coming out of the portal I was sitting on your left-hand side. I have an all-access pass but I hate the worry of knowing I could be sitting in someone’s paid seats, so I frequently shoot from a mediocre spot until all the latecomers’ butts are in seats.
I mentioned before that my project is going to focus on more than just performers, and to show how serious I am about this, I wanted to share a couple shots I got of the crew and staff during this particular show tonight. It’s tough because they are frequently in shadows and moving quickly. That IS their job.
I’ve posted ALL the pictures I took tonight on my portfolio site. You can find them at emilyfleck.com. More later this weekend.
